What is Baptism?
In baptism, you as parents are thanking God for his gift of life, making a decision to start your child on the journey of faith and asking for the Church's support. Baptism marks the start of a journey of faith, turning towards Christ and becoming a member of the Christian family.
The Church of England baptises both Adults and Children, we believe God's love enfolds us regardless of age, ability or maturity. Baptisms at All Saints' are conducted by the vicar, and normally held within the Sunday Church Service. (Services of baptism are usually held at 11am, or by arrangement with the vicar). For further details contact the vicar Rev'd Dr Rob James Tel 01594 516671 or email email@example.com
Funerals, Cremations, Burials and Interment of Cremated Remains
A more sombre but no less important service to our community. All Saints' is available to parishioners and non-parishioners for funeral services and services to celebrate the life of a loved one. The arrangements are normally handled by your chosen funeral director who will then contact the vicar. The vicar will then make arrangements with relatives to visit and chat through the requirements. The vicar is also able to conduct funerals services at the crematorium chapel if required.
All Funeral services are normally conducted by the vicar.
*Burials in the village cemetery are arranged by the funeral director, the cemetery is the property of Awre parish council.
